The Kyu-Yasuda Garden is a small Japanese garden, but it is elegantly arranged with small island ponds, bridges, and Yukimi lanterns.

旧安田庭園は小さな日本庭園ですが、小島の浮かぶ池や橋、雪見灯篭などが上品に配置され、緑に囲まれて癒しの時を過ごすのに最適の場所です。

In the past, water was pumped directly into the garden pond from the Sumida River, which flows next door, and it was a garden where you could enjoy the view of the water level of the pond changing according to the tide level of the river. However, it was canceled due to pollution of the Sumida River. Currently, we use a pump to artificially reproduce the ebb and flow of water. Therefore, even now, the view of the pond changes depending on the time of visit, and visitors are entertained.

以前は隣を流れる隅田川から直接庭園の池に水を汲み入れ、川の水位よって池が水位が変化するのを楽しむ庭園でした。しかし隅田川の汚染によりこのシステムは終了。現在はポンプを利用して人工的に水の満干を再現しています。ですから、これまで通り訪問時間を変えることで、毎回違った池の眺めを楽しむことができます。
